70th Annual Western Economic Association International Conference

July 1995, San Diego: I will present FDR Interactive, a map-timeline study of the 1943 Teheran Conference with photos and narrated by audio clips from a Fireside Chat. This will be a unique demonstration of using multimedia in distance learning.

June 1994, Boston: I presented JFK - The Final 100 Hours, a photo essay with audio of the 100 hours prior to the assassination.

President Truman

A photo essay and map-timeline study of President Truman's 1948 Whistle-stop Campaign. Scheduled for completion in advance of the 50th anniverary are re-visits to selected sites. Interested participants may contact me at fslaton@wiley.csusb.edu. I am especially interested in interviewing those who were at the whistle stops and in acquiring copies of newspaper accounts.
